Bonfires...
So one of my close friends just invited me to a bonfire at some kid named Kevin's place. I told her I prolly wouldn't go because I don't know who Kevin is. Reguardless I'm still invited....and now I am going to be left at home on a Friday evening feeling like a loser. I'd go to this bonfire, but I can't drink. I mean I could, but realistically I can't and shouldn't. My friends, I know, plan to play beer pong and stay the night, which of course sounds like a ton of fun....well with the right people it could be lol. But while everyone else is getting wasted and having a ton of fun, I'll feel like I don't belong. I can't relate to them in this sense and it's ok, I'm not mad at my friends for going to parties, I'm just afraid that I'm slowly loosing them to the "cool" scene. I know I'm in college, not highschool, but still I can't help but feel sometimes that I don't fit in.

Shop-a-holic
I have a confession..its one many girls and guys confess too. Hi, my name is Bri and I'm addicted to shopping. I've probaly spent over a thousand dollars this summer on things I don't need. ie make up, more make up, clothes, feathers, and oh yeah makeup. :) I tried putting a limit on what I bought, however it was hardly enforced by myself. Oops! I guess it's ok since I AM using everything I've boughten thus far...but still I am too scared to even try adding up all the money I've spent. I'd like to blame fellow youtube beauty gurus however they never told me to buy anything just to check it out and what it boils down to is self control.....From this day forward.....NOPE thats already a lie, my bestie and I are going to the newly remodeled Forever 21 to "check it out"...good thing I get paid tomorrow.
So some products I have recently purchased and tried and love are as follows....I know I didn't need any of this stuff.
Ok, first stop Walmart: Organics Moroccan Oil..it comes in a blue bottle that looks like the old loreal kids fish shampoo. My hair does look healthier after using it for about 3 weeks. I don't use it religiously, a couple nights a week after I get out of the shower is all I need. My hair is pretty dry from over processing it...(I used to have a super crazy crush on hair dyes..actually I still do). So yes I do like this product, my hair does feel more conditioned and revived from all of the torturous things I do to it.
I've recently soothed my craving for nail polish with some Essie and OPI as well as Nails inc.
Essie: Borrowed and Blue, Sand Tropez, Blanc, Mademoiselle (sp)
Opi: Lucertanly look nice, This is my year, White Shatter, one from the Burlesque collection..it is an orange glittery colour of which I can not remember the name atm.
Sephora OPI: Sparktacular, What's your poison
Nails inc. 3D effect in a purple glittery colour, sorry I'm at work and don't have the names all memerized.
I love them all! well most of em..some I have yet to try.
Hmmm.....what else, I know I say I've spent a lot of money then list like 2 different products...oh I wanted to the Benefit It's Potent eye cream. It is supposed to help brighter up your eyes and help with dark circles. I put it on in the morning and sometimes at night, and I actually have notcied the skin around my eyes looking nicer, as in not so dark and sleepy looking. Yes it is a bit pricey and it comes in a small jar, but it has a thick consistency and smoothes away to almost nothing, like you don't feel it all once applied. Also I purchased a new tube tube of Urban Decay's eye potion in Eden, I forgot how much I love their eye potions. My eye shadow really does last ten times longer. There was no reason as to why I chose Eden, I just liked that the bottle was a golden pale yellow colour honestly.
Ok well thats my short overview of some of the things I bought that I would actually repurcase. I hope these reviews help you decide on some new products, as always I will ty my hardest to add in pictures.

I've been away!
Great news! I am done with this semester at college, and I passed calculus with a B-. Not bad if I do say so myself. Now there is just one more semester to go and I will get my associates. So, I went to the MAC beauty counter at Macy's and I asked one of the make up artists to show me to do my eye make up like Sara Walker. I follow her on youtube, swalkermakeup. I wish I had taken a picture, I came out looking so beautiful. After she was done, her name was Alisha and she happened to be the manager, I bought pretty much everything she used. Even though I only asked for my eyes, she did my entire face. I thought that was pretty nice of her considering it was prom weekend, and they were booked with apointments. Anyways, moral of the story is, don't go get your make up done, because you will fall in love with it and buy it all and end up spending $167.00! Seriously though, I am just starting my MAC collection, so of course I was buying things that I didn't actually have.
I'll post a picture of everything once my camera gets fixed. For now here is a list of everything I bought that day. :) eyeshadows in Brule', Embark, Jest, Mystery and shroom; Penultimate eyeliner in Rapidblack; Sheertone shimmer blush in Springsheen, Lip pencil in "in synch", Amplified Creme Lipstick in "vegas volt" and last but not least, Dazzleglass in "money honey". The look I wanted was a sophisticated smokey eye with perfectly defined winged eyeliner, and a bright lip, not too bright though. Also in Sara's video it looks as though she is wearing fake eye lashes, due to time, my make up artist was unable to put them on me. Anyways now that I have the right tools, I can easily get the look when ever I like, and the liquid liner is like a fine tiped marker and is extremely easy to use!

Winter Break
So that whole "lets exercise everyday thing" didn't work, I am sorry but I can not get motivated to do it. Anyways this winter break has been...interestesting to say the least. Friday night, I painted my friends nails with my new katy perry and shatter opi nail polish. Which btw they turned out awesome, the only downside is that they do chip easily, but since it's supposed to look shattered, it doesn't really matter. Anyways my two girlfriends got into a fight, so I had to be the bigger person and fix it. It was over stupid stuff too, we started watching Due Date, then when Renee got back from picking up Todd, she said she didn't want to watch it because it had already started and she hadn't seen it yet. So no big deal, we are going to chill in the other room, well Renee ask's Leslie if she's coming to hang out and Leslie goes "No, this is my favorite new movie and I'm watching it, Some people need to get over it". Of course Leslie would be a jerk and say that to Renee, so now it's just me, Renee and her bf Taylor in the other playing rummy. Which hey I don't care what we do, Ne is very ocd and has to do things a certain way and I get that, but Les refuses to accept that and acts like a bitch. Hello, you already watched it like 5 times, so whats the big deal if we do something else. or heaven forbid start it over. Don't be misled, I live my friends, we've all known each other since 6th grade, but sometimes everyone needs to grow up and other times everyone needs to remember the child in them and let it out once in a while.
On to a brighter more exciting and happier note, I find out how I did on my macro and marketing tests tomorrow and if I did good, I am going to go ahead and order some head kandy hair extensions. I figure I'll know if they're thick enough without taking them out of the package and if they aren't I can return them, no problem.
Ok so the other day I finally wore the Lady Gaga 2 lipstick and lipglass, omg, first of all my lips didn't feel dry at all, I love the color, it's a nice rich nude color. The lipstick itself was super creamy and easy to put on. I have tanish skin, I don't go tanning because being half puertorican gives me a nice light tan, but this color looks good with my skin tone. I broke out the two faced eye shadow pallete too, I followed the instructions to do a classic natural eye. Now I always do colored eyeshadow, hardly ever nudes, but this combination looked so beautiful, absolutely gives you the "pretty girl who barely wears make up" look that a lot of people are envious of. I am in love, seriously I have never been so happy with everything I bought altogether in one shopping session. Usually its "this is awesome and the other stuff is ok". I encourage you all to go to Sephora and try out the pallete, then you will see what I mean, or if you're more of an impulse buyer like me, you can order it right now with this link http://www.sephora.com/ or http://www.toofaced.com/

Day 2
I can feel the burn lol, I did another leg workout and an ab workout. I also barely ate any junk food today. So anyways I went to the doctors for a checkup and you know how they have you change into the weird tissue paper gowns? Well I'm about to change and my doctor knocks on the door and asks to come in, I say hang on just a second but at the same time, my doctor opens the door as my pants are half down my butt. I thought it was a nice way to start the visit. Well I started laughing and she looked kind of mad and said she'd come back. I bought a new book the other day, Still Alice, it's about a lady who goes through alzhiemer's disease. It looks kind of scary, like what if this happens to me, but at the same time I have to read it.
Well I've got some marketing homework to attend to, ttyl

Day One
Alright, so I didn't do so well today with the whole healthier choices and working out. So far I've had come chocolate chips, gummi worms, sour patch kids, Pizza hut pizza and breadsticks...and 2 granola bars. I did get one workout in, it focused on the thighs and hips. Tomorrow I will definately be sure to get two maybe even three workouts in to make up for today and limit the junk food. It is hard though when you know that downstairs in your fridge is a pack of pillsburry Valentine's day cookies with the cute little hearts on them. Those are my favorite cookies in the whole world. Also, I know I said I would review the new make up I bought recently, however we are off from school this week so I haven't felt the need to look "fancy" lol.
Sweet Dreams :)

Ten Days to a Firmer Body?
Alright, I've had this pilates dvd forever and I barely ever use it. Today that changes, I'm going to do at least two workouts from it a day, theres a total of five,. I know this isn't the most intense workout regime but I'm not trying to loose weight, just become more toned. I am not a very active person so small amounts of time feel like big amounts of time on my body where working out is involved. If anyone wants to follow, I am using the SHAPE Pilates for Pink Core Challenge, it a couple of ten minute routines that you definetly feel the burn on. And actually, the leg routine helped to strengthen my hips, so I don't have to go to physical therapy anymore. I am also going to attempt to make healthier food choices instead of all the sugary/salty snacks.
I haven't worked out yet today, but when I do I will post, hopefully this may motivate any readers to increase their healthy habits.

Let's Do This!
Ok..so uhm hi...I'm Bryanne and I'm officially a blogger, just a little fun for the readers. This whole blogging thing is new to me, I mean I've heard about it, but what does the word blog even mean,(yes, I know how to look it up.). I'm excited to start this one and hopefully build a community of readers who comment and actually enjoy what I have to say. So a little bit about me, I'm a sophmore in college, in love with pink girly things, make up and hair, but I balance it out with keeping on the Dean's List and working with real people who have real problems.
Anyways lets do this. This past Sunday I went to the Galleria Mall in Buffalo for the first time and oh my gosh it was so amazing. It reminded me a bit of shopping in New York City because each store was huge, stocked with items that you couldn't get at the same store in a different mall. I'm in love, what was great was that there were higher income stores, such as Lord and Taylor, Cache' and Sephora as well as less expensive stores ie Delias, American Eagle Outfitters and my new favorite, Macy's.
The reason I say Macy's is because I discovered MAC Cosmetics. I went through the make up department and asked a sales associate if they sold it, since not all Macy's have it in the store. She grabbed my hand and led me a little ways, then put her hand under my chin and told me to look straight ahead. Some people might get annoyed by that, but she was so whimsical about it, it was rather cute. Anyways I've heard so much about MAC listicks so I picked up the new Viva Glam Lady Gaga 2 lipstick and matching lipglass. It's a nude color but when paired together it looks so pretty. This is my first lipstick ever and I'm in love. Also all the make up artists in the MAC section were super fun and helpful.
I also picked up the mini Katy Perry nail polish set as well as a full bottle of OPI's new Shatter. I was surprised to find it actually, at MarketPlace and Greece Ridge Malls, they were completely sold out,and by completely I mean they didn't even have the dispay out anymore where the colors would have been. So when I saw them I had to grab em. I also ran into Sephora and picked up the TOO Faced Natural Eye palette, I read a lot of good reviews on this, so I'm eager to try it out, I post a review once I break into them. But I have tons of fun colors, so I needed some neutrals. My last purchase of the day was the Black Belt book of Sudoku. I love sudoku, I literally fall asleep with the book in my hand at night. I don't recommend doing them in pen if you're going to be working them out before bed, the reason being one of my pens sorta of exploded and ruined one of my blankets. Ooops :)
Ok so I'm thinking about getting HeadKandy hair extensions. I have thick hair and heard they worked really well with thick hair. However this all depends on how well I did on my marketing and macroeconomics exam. I know I'm such a child, but I like rewarding myself for good grades, especially in my college classes, I figure it helps keep me on track and makes me think if this is something I want to spend my money on.
I think for my first post this isn't the worst, as always suggestions and comments are welcome. Good night world. Tomorrow is a new day, make the most of it. xoxo Bre
P.S. Here are links to the sites where I purchased the lipstick and eye shadow. The book was at Barnes and Nobles and the nail polish was at one of those Beauty Supply Plus stores. :)
